The gesture

Sit comfortably, cross-legged or in an armchair, with your feet firmly planted on the ground.
Rub your hands together to awaken the energy. Gently place your ring finger in the centre of your palm, then extend your little finger outwards.
Then join the tips of your thumb, index and middle fingers to create a harmonious connection. Place your hands on your thighs or knees, palms facing upwards, and relax your shoulders.
Close your eyes, breathe deeply, allowing the tension to dissolve with each breath, and hold this posture for 36 soothing breaths.
